I’ve been coming here almost weekly for the last 4 months religiously. The atmosphere is one of the most welcoming on the island. They have constant restocks and quality product that other stores can’t keep up with. I’ve frequented alot of the local card stores over the last 5-10 years in Suffolk and I haven’t ever been more comfortable in a place. No judgement. Just good people. Great staff. Great fun. Not only do I play/collect but I’ve been bringing my wife and our kids here. From advanced magic players to beginners. They are accommodating and respectful for every walk of life. They go aBove and beyond to help accommodate for disabilities even with limited space. Keep this place in mind now and for the holiday season coming up.

Their singles selection is insanely good, especially for commons and uncommons. They often have great deals on cards and boxes, MTG specifically. I've sold pokemon and MTG to them and the prices offered are fair and reasonable. I've bought cards as expensive as Judge Yawgmoth's Will and Revised Volcanic Island here and felt both were good deals for their conditions. I've bought plenty of cheaper singles and it always comes out cheaper than TCGPlayer with shipping would have been. A few times a year they will have a sale where you get to roll a D20 and get a discount based on the result. They have an easy way to email lists of singles, consistent standard and prerelease events, and even a flourishing draft scene that started organically from store frequenters wanting to draft some packs. The employees are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The store is cleaned daily and there is AC.
The most unique aspect of Genesis comics is the weekend commander events that use a point system. It encourages players to limit the pace of their decks, try new cards and mechanics, get rewarded for hitting achievements like having a card in play from all 16 FF games, and rewards players for certain deck building restrictions like playing only commons and uncommons or not playing the best artifact ramp or only using cards from a single set.

Was buying Pokemon card packs for my nephew today for his birthday. Guys at the counter were great with set recommendations. A lot has changed in that world since I was a kid and their help was appreciated. Highly recommend. My nephew was thrilled.
