Absolutely amazing experience at Ginkgo Day Spa!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The atmosphere at Ginkgo Day Spa is incredibly relaxing, with soft lighting, calming scents, and peaceful music that instantly puts you at ease. We booked a shampoo and hair treatment along with a massage, and it was pure bliss from start to finish.

The shampoo service was luxurious, with a gentle scalp massage, nourishing products, and great attention to detail. My hair felt clean, refreshed, and silky smooth afterward. The massage was just as wonderful. The therapist knew exactly how to relieve tension and applied the perfect amount of pressure. Every muscle felt relaxed, and by the end, I felt completely renewed and refreshed.

The staff at Ginkgo Day Spa were friendly, attentive, and professional. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained, showing how much pride they take in their work.

Ginkgo Day Spa was definitely a beautiful experience! Upon entering the atmosphere is inviting, relaxing, and aesthetic. Greeted warmly by all workers, today I had a full spa day with the Love Connection massage package and the Ultimate Pampering Head Spa. The hour massage was soooo good, Mia had great hands and my partner who had Ana also really enjoyed the massage; we were put in the same room by request :). The head spa experience was intriguing and relaxing. Thorough head massage and scalp cleaning. In addition we added the cooling gel face mask which was applied during the head spa and it was relaxing and feels good. Finally, they blow dried my hair with the Dyson hair blower and it was quick and nice. If you can afford to, definitely try to come here every chance you get or maybe on every specially anniversary/ celebration/ occasion you can! 10/10 first time experience! Did not disappoint.

I booked a reservation online and travelled all the way from Brooklyn for this spa experience. I called to let them know I was running 5 minutes late and Ivan (front desk manager) was so sweet and welcoming over the phone. Once I got to the location, he greeted me so warmly, he definitely set the tone and I just knew I was in for a good time. The place is so clean, so neatly organized, smells so good with the cutest decor. Loving the greenery in the waiting area. I got pampered from head to toe. So this is what it feels like to be a baby again. I booked the ultimate spa package and got pampered from head to toe for less than $200. Listen, that’s a STEAL okay.
This part of my review is for my fellow natural hair girlies who may be hesitant about getting their hair washed here. Unfortunately they do not know how to detangle our hair so that’s why my review is 4 star instead of 5. The middle of my hair was left matted. They do not have a blow dryer with a comb attachment so I used a wide tooth comb and some hair product and I was able to detangle most of it myself. I would recommend detangling your hair at home prior to your appointment OR bringing a few products with you that’ll help you detangle it quickly after the service. There’s a room available for you to do that. Depending on your hair type, if your hair is fairly easy to manage or you have permed hair then go for it, if detangling is a big issue for your hair type then I’d say skip the wash.
Okay now back to the wash itself, I fell asleep. That’s how good it felt to lay down and have someone wash and massage my head, neck and shoulders. I think I even started snoring a little lol. Lilly was my service person and she was the sweetest and so patient. She even called me beautiful after washing my hair. So sweet. The body massage was also amazing but the foot massage really did it for me. I fell asleep again lol. They use a lot of high end products which I can appreciate. There’s a LV perfume in the dressing room that yu can use after you’re done, oh my. Smells like heaven. I walked out of that spa looking and feeling so amazing. I can’t wait to return. Ivan acknowledged that it was birthday as per my reservation note and I thought that was very sweet. I got some goodies to take home which was nice. Overall, an amazing experience. I’ve already recommended this spa to numerous people. I’ll be back ;)

I had such a great experience! I booked the Ultimate Pampering Head Spa, and it was honestly even better than I expected. The whole vibe was super relaxing, and the staff were really kind and welcoming. The treatment felt amazing—I left feeling refreshed and so relaxed. Definitely planning to come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking to treat yourself!
