Giovanni's Garment Care

I live in Brooklyn, but often stay on Long Island and need a dry cleaner. I am very picky about my dry cleaners and so happy that I found Giovanni. He is easily my favorite cleaner in all on New York. They take such good care of my designer pieces and everything always comes back beautifully. I also find the prices to be reasonable. Highly recommend.

Giovanni is an absolute treasure. He took personal care of family heirlooms I found in a closet renovation a few months ago. My daughter's handmade christening gown was a dingy tan after 30 years in the closet. He got out every stain and discoloration in this beautiful three-piece set handmade by my deceased seamstress aunt. She would be so proud. He also brought back to life an intricate king size crochet coverlet my deceased mother made over 55 years ago to its bright yellow original condition. I recommend his cleaning and preservation service to care for all of your delicate heirlooms

I had an amazing experience at Giovanni's Garment care. I brought in two wedding gowns for alterations, and they turned out absolutely perfect. The tailor did a phenomenal job on all the alterations and both gowns fit exactly how I wanted. The Owner was professional, and clearly cared about getting every detail right. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would recommend them to anyone who wants their special pieces handled with real care.

Giovanni is a literal saint and the best in the business! I got married in Italy and my dress was dragged through grass, gravel, dirt, mud, etc., and it was an absolute wreck. I brought it to Giovanni to clean and preserve and he returned it to me absolutely SPOTLESS and looking brand new!!! I can’t even believe how gorgeous it looks. He really takes his time and is worth every penny! The attached photos are from after cleaning but before preservation. Pics don’t even do it Justice. So thankful to have found him!!!
