Goodhue Park is highly inaccessible as both entrances locked up at 2 PM at the beginning of June. You have to enter through a hole in the fence. Almost every part of this park is poorly maintained if maintained at all. The water fountains don’t work, necessary caution signage is on the floor, trees block off pathways, cigarettes and broken bottles are on the pathways, and the garbage is overflowing. The grass isn’t mowed, and the benches are rusty and dented while in awkward spots to sit in.

Goodhue is a hidden treasure like no other. Such amazing memories from childhood and now as a parent too!
The parking lot and playground is under construction and there are dumpsters in the parking lot. There is a pretty decent softball field and basketball court as well. I was at the softball field side of the park and cannot speak for the rest of the park. There are two port o potties ...no bathrooms
