Had my regular haircut with Mindy Felice.
As always she is superb. I appreciate not only her top notch skills but her sincere friendship. She is highly recommended.

I've bounced around to different salons, but I've finally found my home at Hair & Co in Bay Ridge. Cathy is such a talented and knowledgeable stylist. I often say, "you're in charge" and am always amazed at how beautiful my hair comes out after my visit with her. I feel very taken care of by the team surrounding Cathy- from the welcoming and kind Jimmy to the thoughtful support team, including Jolie. I highly recommend this salon!

First time here, going back always. Jess did an absolutely amazing job on my hair. It’s super curly and she handled it with so much care. She’s also super friendly and personable. Even the gentleman at the front desk. Felt like I was already friends with them! Thanks again so much guys!

Not completely satisfied. I paid $430 total, including a 20% tip (which I asked about beforehand). I wasn’t going to make a scene or skip out on paying — I paid almost half a grand, didn’t skimp on tips, and still left unhappy.

I actually came in the day before to confirm prices and was quoted less. On the appointment day, I clearly explained what I wanted and even showed a past photo because I didn’t want something generic. Based on that, I was advised to go with a different style/color that would cost more — which I was fine with, as long as I left satisfied.

I was advised the result would be peach, and instead ended up with brown highlights — definitely not the shade I had in mind. Next time I’ll be showing the exact color. The haircut was good, but the color missed the mark completely. My scalp also felt heavy and itchy the next day, like the shampooing wasn’t done properly.

Paying $430 should feel like a premium experience. This didn’t. I could’ve gone somewhere less fancy, paid much less, and maybe even walked out happier. This is MY honest, PERSONAL experience — I paid for the service, respected the process, but I’m not happy with what I got.
