First, in spite of how professional the front desk staff were, neither one of them were wearing face masks. One would think that any hotel would want to do everything they could to make guests feel safe and comfortable, but I digress. My room was clean and the property was nice. However, there were some areas that could use much better lighting, because without it, the place looks sketchy. I honestly wish I was more comfortable at this property.
The front desk staff was rude... at least the older man was and I think he may be the manager but that is a faraway guess. He called me to the counter, then told me just to wait. When the lady at the other counter said I could step over to her he seemed hurt about it so I waited for him then he passed me off to a younger gentleman anyway. The younger guy was very nice. My room was decent. All I needed was a clean safe place to sleep and shower and this was provided. Looks like they are making improvements since past reviews. I saw a security truck out in front and didn't see any creepy folks around late at night so that is good. My suggestion is to get rid of smoking and the cover around the 2nd floor outside balcony... It traps smoke and shields a visitor's view from their cars. The hotel probably would get better reviews if the price matched the service.
