What a gem! This place is tucked away in the woods and packed full of incredible info on the surrounding nature. The staff is very knowledgeable and wonderful to interact with and kids love playing in the big hollow tree inside the center. They do tons of great programs and even have kayak rentals!

What a great asset to our community! Friendly, knowledgeable staff always there to answer your questions. A beautiful building with a terrific butterfly garden and hiking trails adjoining the Bashakill Wildlife Management Area. Educational exhibits and a wealth of library books that cover the area along with walks and field trips for every imaginable aspect of nature . A wonderful environmental organization. Thank-you to all the staff and supporters.

I visited the center one day after some kayaking. The displays are very good. The people there welcomed my questions and were interested in any knowledge or sightings that I had to share. It is a very welcoming place.

A great place to learn about nature and the delicate ecosystem that surrounds us - right in the middle of it all. The staff and the volunteers are passionate about what they do and the programs are designed for all ages and all levels of knowledge. Come and check them out - and "like" them on Facebook!
