My friends and I got a hotel here pretty last minute, but didn’t have any issues with the booking & parking. The front desk workers were very nice, security was quick with our ids and photos, too. We had a very kind lady check us in, she had glasses and short blonde hair, and a kind young man with long dark hair helped me out late in the night with finding water. Probably some of the nicest and genuine people we’ve ever encountered at a hotel, and I know working a front desk can be annoying and unfun, so having a good interaction added some good to our day.
I think the ONLY complaint I have is that the hot water in the shower wasn’t really working, but I was too lazy to go down and ask them about it, so that’s my own fault, I chose that battle.
I didn’t think it was dirty like some people are saying, especially for the price. And the pillows and bed were very comfy. The ac & heater worked fine too, which is convenient because that’s a pretty typical issue at hotels for whatever reason.
I wish I remembered the names of the workers. You two know who you are, you the goats. Shoutout to you both.
My husband and I came here for a short stay while visiting NY to see family.
I felt compelled to write a review for Kathleen and Christine, the bartenders upstairs and downstairs .
They were friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. The drinks were made perfectly and came out quickly, but what really stood out was their personality — they made everyone at the bar feel welcome and comfortable. You can tell they genuinely enjoy connecting with people
. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if you visit — you’ll be well taken care of if Christine & Kathleen are working! You’ll have a great night!
This was my third time staying at Jake’s 58, and once again, we absolutely loved it. The rooms are always clean, the service is great, and everything about the stay feels smooth and easy. They have everything you could want right on site a restaurant, casino, and a coffee shop. We even got free coffee for booking our room, which was a nice perk.
Check in and check out we’re both very quick and hassle free, which I really appreciated. If you’re traveling through Long Island, I highly recommend staying here. And just a fun note one of the security guards looks like a Viking, which gave us a good laugh and made the visit even more memorable!
I recently dined at Bistro 58 had an excellent experience. Our server, Israel, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Even though the place was busy and he was running around handling many tables, he never missed a beat with us. His attention, professionalism, and friendly service really stood out. The food was great, and the service made the whole visit even better. Highly recommend Bistro 58, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Israel as your server!
