The Ocean Bay House

I had my wedding June 13 2025 at Captain Bills and stayed the weekend with the OceanBay house. Going in i was a little nervous and maybe even a bridezilla because i was afraid of the stay for my guests and the rules seemed a bit stricter being it was not an airbnb but a bed and breakfast. Elizabeth through the entire process showed her hard work but while we were there she really showed how much effort, love and care she puts into her work. I can’t recommend this house enough! I rented the entire house Thursday-Saturday.

I stayed at The Ocean Bay House for the night before my wedding and Liz was an absolutely amazing host. She was so accommodating and made my stay so memorable. Seeing snow on the grounds felt truly magical. It was a beautiful place and I wish I got to stay there longer. This bed and breakfast is so stunning and cozy. The Seaborn Suite is massive with a gorgeous view. The suite had plenty of space to store my wedding gown and luggage and with space to spare to get ready. Thank you so much for making my stay so memorable Liz, I am so grateful I got to experience this beautiful B&B.

My husband and I got married down the road from The Ocean Bay House last year and stayed here the night before our wedding. We came back for our anniversary this past weekend and we just love this house. The owner Liz is so accommodating and kind. I am gluten free, so she made sure to have plenty of breakfast options for me every morning. We stayed in the East End room and it was beautiful. We overlooked the water, it was quiet and so relaxing. We only live 15 minutes away, but will be back. This is the perfect mini weekend away!! Highly recommend staying at The Ocean Bay House.

My family and a few friends booked the entire home for my daughter's wedding weekend. The Ocean Bay House is lovely, clean, and conveniently located in Bay Shore. Liz was attentive and helpful concerning our need to prepare for a morning ceremony. She provided continental breakfast for the early risers, then a hot breakfast for those with more time. My only regret is that the weather was not conducive to enjoying the beautiful outdoor areas. We had a wonderful weekend and recommend this B & B!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience staying at The Ocean Bay House for our wedding weekend with all our family. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by Liz. The charm and beauty of the property made for the most perfect setting, and it felt like the ideal place for us to create lasting memories.

Not only was the accommodation comfortable and cozy, but the hospitality went above and beyond. We were especially grateful to Liz for generously allowing us to use the house for our wedding weekend. It was just one example of how they truly went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We could not have asked for a more accommodating and thoughtful host.

The peaceful atmosphere, lovely surroundings, and exceptional service made our stay truly special. We are so happy we chose the Ocean Bay house for such an important occasion, and we will definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family.
