Kitchen Masters Plus

I recently had my 50 year old kitchen refreshed with refaced cabinets, new doors, drawer fronts and hardware, new countertop and sink. Kitchen Masters was recommended highly by a trusted friend. I had my initial meeting with Tom on October 13th to go over products, styles, colors and he did some preliminary measuring. He was prompt, courteous and very helpful as I am a pretty indecisive person. At the second visit, Tom brought Bryan who would be doing all the work along with his son, Tyler. While Tom and I finalized all the details of the job, Bryan took more exact measurements. I was told that I would receive a call setting a start date in 6-8 weeks once all the supplies were on hand. That’s exactly what happened. Work began on December 17th. Bryan and Tyler were impressive workers, very precise, clean, masterful in every way. In just 3 full days, I had a beautiful new kitchen. I am happy with every aspect of the job and every person that I met and spoke with at the office. Thumbs up to this business.

Rich and his team are just really incredible. Wildly patient, knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way, especially for someone walking in the door choosing custom cabinets and everything for our first home. You can tell Rich is as excited about your project as you are and he takes the time to make sure everything is thoroughly looked over and safely delivered. I’m very happy with our new kitchen! Kitchen Masters Plus just remodeled our vintage 1974 condo kitchen. We were referred by my cousin in Sayville, who had had his own kitchen done by them as well as his mother's and was very happy with the work.

If not for his referral I don't know that I would have looked into an estimate from a smaller local company. In theory I like to shop local businesses, but I mistakenly thought it would be easier and more economical to go with Lowes. Wrong on both counts.

Tom came to our condo and we discussed refacing vs replacing. I quickly decided on replacing. He took measurements and I went to their showroom to see the cabinet choices. I decided on the Fabuwood Galaxy line. I had a quote in just a day or two, for tear-out and installation of cabinets and countertop, including everything to do with the installation, including the actual sink and the plumbing hookup. I trusted them to provide me with a nice sink when Tom said they use only quality grade stainless steel sinks. (One less decision to make but very much out of character for me.)

The communication provided by everyone at this company is fantastic. I never once had to reach out--they were always proactive, keeping me informed.

We're snowbirds, and I got my estimate in the fall for spring installation. While I was in Florida during the winter, Fabuwood came out with a new cabinet color. I wanted to see it in person, so Jackie mailed me a sample, which I got in a few days. Very helpful. I did end up choosing that color and I love it.

They provide the hardware at a 20% discount if you'd like, or you can buy it yourself and as long as you have it on hand they will install it. I used their hardware.

I was given a date for the installation with a clear timeline of what would happen, The timeline was 100% correct.

Now, the installer--Bryan and his son, wonderful in every way. He's obviously a perfectionist, in a nice way. I would describe him and his son as meticulous. I feel so fortunate he was our installer. He also fabricated the countertop himself at his shop.

Our walls were quite out of square. He fixed it, not problem. The new sink, which is beautiful, by the way, had an offset (toward the rear) drain, and out old sink had a center drain. This necessitated reconfiguring all the plumbing under the sink. Again, no problem. He came back with the parts and fixed it with no issue whatsoever. He was super friendly and his work ethic was fantastic. Just the best. 10/10! All of this was done in just two days with a short trip back on the third day to finish the sink plumbing.

They took all the old stuff away and left the space spotless.

All through this process we received so much care and great customer service from Tom, Jackie, Jen, Rich, and Bryan and son.

I just had a call from Tom this morning making sure I was happy with the kitchen and after we hung up, I realized I should write review and share my experience with others (though I was not asked to and the subject of a review has never once been mentioned).

Let me also say that the price was significantly less than Lowes and the service was just incomparable. I can say this because we used Lowes to install a kitchen in a rental we own in Florida and the experience was pretty frustrating and required multiple fixes after the fact. Also, Lowes had given us an estimate for this condo kitchen and it was quite high, with cabinets that were not as nice as the Fabuwood cabinet, which are *really* nice!

My daughter and son-in-law will be needing a kitchen remodel in the near future and they will be using Kitchen Masters Plus on my recommendation.

Tom, Jackie, Jen, Rich, Bryan--if you're reading this I just want to thank each and every one of you so much!

Usually, home improvement projects are an ordeal. BUT—-Kitchen Masters Plus made our kitchen and bathroom cabinet refacing a very positive experience. From the initial inquiry to the project completion, we were very pleased with the responsiveness of the office staff, the company representative Tony who came out for an estimate, and the installation by Brian. Their advice on style questions and the extra mile to confirm the appropriateness of our style/hardware choices was helpful and inspired confidence in their expertise. The project timetable was specified and accurately followed. The office staff maintained contact to advise of each step and without prompting, kept us informed about appointments for estimate and installation. The cost was reasonable, the result was wonderful.
