Legendary Motion

From start to finish, my experience with Legendary Motion (Bellmore, NY) was nothing short of outstanding and deserves every one of these five stars. I brought in my 2024 Honda Civic Type R for a full bolt-on build and Jon handled every single part of the installation and tuning. From start to finish, he delivered absolute perfection.

Jon is a true expert and one of the most knowledgeable performance-car specialists I’ve ever met. He installed all of my equipment — intake, turbo inlet, front pipe, intercooler, charge pipes, and more — and flashed my custom tune. The results were flawless. There wasn’t a screw left out, nothing loose, nothing overlooked. The car runs stronger, smoother, and better than ever.

On top of the performance work, Jon also installed my Street Glow LEDs, front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, and did an incredible tint job. Everything is aligned perfectly and looks factory-level clean. His precision and attention to detail is on another level — he’s a perfectionist and it shows in every inch of the car.

If you’re serious about taking your vehicle to the next level, this is the only shop to go to on LI. Jon treats your car like it’s his own and delivers real results.

I originally took my 2004 Lexus LX470 to a different shop but I was treated very badly and decided to pull my truck out after having my truck there for 3 days without any progress, a very rude front desk, a very wrong diagnosis, and an arrogant shop owner. I had a very bad feeling and decided to cut my losses. Limping home in my broken truck I remembered seeing a shop in the area with a bunch of H1 Hummers in the parking lot. I had no idea what they were about otherwise, if they were good or not. I just knew vaguely where the shop was. I walked into the door and was greeted warmly by Julia and her sister Dani, a stark difference from the previous shop where it seemed like they were mad I was trusting them with my vehicle. I explained what had happened to my truck, that my Hydraulic Suspension needed to be replaced with a conventional system as a hydraulic line had failed due to rust. Julia was able to understand what I was saying, it turns out she is very knowledgeable about cars. This immediately put me at ease. There was man in a shop uniform with glasses and salt and pepper hair who was also in the reception area who was intently listening to my ordeal and he eventually chimed in. He spoke matter of factly and had already developed a plan on what must be done and said he would tackle the job. The plan was the same plan I already knew needed to done to properly fix my suspension even before I came to the shop. This man turned out to be Jonathan, the shop owner and tech. He was confident he could do the job. My heart breathed a sigh of relief and I told them that they were a breath of fresh air after what had happened in the previous shop. Jonathan reassured me I came to the right place. It took a few weeks for my parts to come in but when they did Jonathan and Bryan hit the ground running. They got the job done in a shorter time than I thought. If you know old cars especially old Lexus/Toyota you will be wrestling with a lot of rust. When I picked up my truck a few unexpected issues popped up and I got to see first hand how Jonathan diagnoses a car. It was marvelous. He quickly got to the bottom of some weird noises from the new brake rotors and pads that also needed to be done and was genuinely enjoying figuring out these unexpected problems. Jonathan was logical and decisive in what to do to remedy the problem. He showed his vast experience and used all his senses to diagnose. Love that. I drove the truck to work straight from the shop about 30 miles and it drove fantastic with it's new Suspension System. I thank God to have found Legendary Motion as I feel I found a home with these fellow Car Nerds. I already have a list of other things I need done by Legendary Motion on the LX and my other vehicles.They'll be the only guys I'll trust with my vehicles for now on. I recently had the pleasure of using Legendary Motion for some repairs on my vehicle, and I am thoroughly impressed with their service. The convenience of having a mechanic come to my location was invaluable, saving me the hassle of driving to a shop and waiting around. I think they deserve a raise for all their hard work and dedication to getting the cars done in such a fast and reasonable time!

My car has a track record of flat tires and random check engine lights that me as a new driver I don’t really understand it. Jonathan and Legendary motion has always been there every time I needed, Helping patch the tires and even just checking my car to make sure everything is in check. The pricing is always reasonable and He will always be my first call when I have an issue. Im very excited to bring my car into the new shop! My go to always!!

Johnathan has always come thru with my cars. I have three daughters and I am definitely not well versed around cars and he has been keeping them on the road with his extensive services provided. You cannot go wrong with Jonathan and Legendary Motion.
