This was my first time going to a baseball game and everything was pretty good.
Parking was pretty good.
Maneuvering through the park was easy, a little crowded but easy.
And the fireworks at the end were really good.
Awesome game! We sat right behind the plate. One of the players struck out and we could hear him cursing on his way back to the dugout. A guy behind us yelled "hey! there are kids here!". It was so funny. The hot dogs were good and I think Wilmer Flores' brother is on the team. We had a great time at the game.
Leaving the parking lot is a deadlocked nightmare but the experience was amazing. The stadium and bathrooms are clean (for the most part), the seats are reasonable although kind of ontop of the rows but we got lucky with no one directly infront of us. They have cute entertainment that is kid oriented and a giant blow up area at the top of right field which is great for parents to still watch the game. Typical baseball food and atmosphere... but the fireworks? Outrageous and makes it all worth while!
This minor league ball park is designed very well and has consession stands and plenty of bathroom accomidations and I would have given it more stars but we came unexpectedly to celebrate my wife's birthday and the MC was walking the stands with the ducks mascot so I asked him if he could mention a quick Happy Birthday to my wife and his reply was we should have called ahead and could not make it happen. You would thinkbthat as intimate and small as this place is they would want to accomidate a small live request but nothing doing. I also have to warn you that the image below is of the items I bought and what it came out to. The cost isnt the issue for me but no thank you for the tip I left and the hot dog bun was stale. A really nice ball park was a real turn off, hope they can turn it around.
Great Family Sunday Fun day! Don't bring anything inside stadium. They will search all bags and you will lose it. Everything is so expensive! But kids get to run the bases at the end of day games. Baseball are given to kids after every inning to kids by Duck players. Bring your glove.
