Melanie's Hair Lounge

This is one of the best salon experiences I’ve had in a while. Melanie is so knowledgeable in hair, she is patient and loves what she does. It’s really hard to find the combination and I am glad I find her. I came in for a silk press and I loved the results. She throughly washed, condition and steamed along with blow dry and trim my hair. Throughout the process, she took her time and handled my hair with care. Ten out of ten will definitely recommend!

Melanie is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and able to answer any of my questions. She gave great recommendations that transformed my hair. She is also so easy to talk to and is very professional. I feel very comfortable during my appointments. I’m so glad I found her!

I had an awesome experience at Melanie’s Hair Lounge, not only is Melanie pleasant and very easy to communicate with, she answered all my questions and gave advice on how to take care of my hair. From start to finish she took excellent care of my natural hair. I had a long over do cut and a flexi rod set. I was so happy how my hair looked so healthy and felt so soft when she was finished. I recently had a wonderful hair appointment with Melanie Carver of Melanie's Hair Lounge. My hair is natural and coily in texture and so after years of wearing it like this, I was overdue for a much needed trim. The entire experience was great! I was greeted warmly (and punctually) at her salon, which is a private suite. I appreciated that she blocked enough time to complete my hair appointment (depends on which service you choose), so
it never at any time felt rushed. After a hair health analysis and recommendations (she provided great advice on how to care for my hair), I was treated to a relaxing hair detox, shampoo, deep-conditioning steam treatment, blow-out followed by a silk press and trim. Melanie is very kind and personable, and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I also enjoyed our conversations during the appointment. I would highly recommend her services to anyone needing a new stylist and/or a hair refresh.

The absolute best professional hair experience of my life! Melanie went above and beyond during my appointment. She listened patiently as I expressed my hair concerns and then addressed every single one of them throughout the appointment, providing me with tips and advice on how to maintain my healthy curls. The whole experience felt like I was at a relaxing spa. Her professionalism, friendly and kind demeanor, as well as her overall knowledge of how to care for natural hair definitely made me a happy customer. I highly recommend booking with her!
