Was visiting from out of town and didn’t want to miss a training night so I dropped in and it exceeded my high expectations. Professor Junior is the man. Great drills and an even better workout. Any time I’m in Middletown I’ve found my home away from home

I can’t brag enough about Renzo Gracie. The environment is great and family friendly, the boys felt comfortable from day one. Pricing is very fair. My boys are signed up for jujitsu and muah tai. The programs are great, they’re learning so much. The instructors are all great with adults and kids. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and always works with you. My kids are always excited to come to class. I can’t be happier watching them learn defense and responsibility while boosting their confidence and helping with their extra energy.

I had the pleasure of teaching at this academy recently, and I just want to say how welcomed I felt from the moment I walked in. The energy in the room was amazing—everyone was so friendly, respectful, and eager to learn.
The facility itself looks fantastic—super clean, well-organized, and built with care for both students and guests.

Reno Gracie MMA Academy in Middletown, NY, has been an amazing place for my son. He’s on an IEP and struggles with sensory and behavioral challenges, but the coaches here have been incredibly patient and understanding. They take the time to work with each child individually, always offering words of encouragement and making sure they feel supported. Since starting, my son has made so much progress—not just in his skills but in his confidence and focus. The positive atmosphere and structured approach have made a huge difference for him. Highly recommend this academy for any parent looking for a supportive and professional program!

Absolutely the best academy in the Hudson Valley. Everyone I rolled with on the mat was so friendly and patient with me as I was getting used to it. The owner personally works with the instructors very closely to ensure the environment is positive and engaging for everyone. Great for adults and great for kids!
