Great time with family picking amazing pears thats are big, juicy, and delicious. Its also beautiful to take pictures. A must have trip for all families looking to do something together.
Evergreen Orchard Farms is a family-run orchard farms that offers organic and GMO-free fruits that you can freshly pick and enjoy. It is harvest season for juicy ripe Korean Shingo pears so come enjoy the freshness right off the trees. Look for the largest and crispiest pears then simply wash it and bite into juiciness. There’s no chemicals nor wax to worry about at all. Don’t forget to visit their store fill of Korean specialties and fruits which is also super farm fresh. Evergreen Orchard Farms holds the key for some of the best fruits you’ve ever tasted!
Great place to pick up the golden pear in September and October. Cash only for paying the entry and pears.
Unique experience picking Korean pears. It’s 10$ per person to ride the tractor which takes you to the orchard and it feels like a free for all to pick the pears before someone else gets to it. They seem to let you eat as much as you want in the orchard but those you take away you have to put in a specially distributed plastic bag and you pay $4.50 per pound before getting back on the tractor to head back to the parking lot and central area. Fun for the kids. There are crowd control individuals in reflective vests trying to ensure each row of orchards is well-picked before the masses try to crossover and attack the next orchard. It can be a bit messy as there’s a lot of pears which have fallen to the ground and have started rotting as well as half-eaten pears or trash that have been discarded by pickers. This messiness definitely kills the vibe of the experience. Did it once and checked the box. Waze couldn’t understand the last mile of the trip so it’s better to switch/use Google maps for directions.
Nice farm! If you are looking for Korean pears, this is the place to go. The owners are friendly. They also carry jujubes. I haven't tried the pear picking ($10 per person), but would love to try one time. Overall, it was a great experience.
