Unbelievably kind, informative and genuine people. Thomas made himself available, followed up and was truly a blessing to deal with. The empathy and compassion he had was astonishing and hard to find these days. They were exceptionally efficient and pleasant.
I would like to say "thank you" to Laura for the glorious send-off for our father. She was so kind and comforting when we were with her at the funeral home, and very prompt and accommodating to our whole family when we reached out to her. She gave us as much as we needed to to set up the memorial photo displays, even providing a Bluetooth speaker so we could play Dad's favorite songs, a TV so we could have a photo carousel of even more pictures, and she even made creative use of some flower easels so we could display some of his favorite shirts and aprons.
Darlene did an absolutely amazing job; Dad looked like himself. It was something we didn't realize we'd been worried about until we saw him, and Darlene's work was an immense relief. Several of our visitors during the wake were so impressed, they even expressed to us that he really did look like OUR Dad.
The wake itself was very spiritual and the readings were what Dad would've chosen for himself. Donna, Randy, and everyone else -- whose names we didn't catch -- were so incredible and executed everything perfectly. They managed what turned out to be a large turnout and coordinated the procession from the church to the cemetery, including well over a dozen cars and stopping traffic to allow us all to pass by our family home.
Millspaugh made some of the hardest days of our lives so much easier and less stressful. The service, care, and professionalism provided were second to none. We gladly, highly recommend you all for the services you provided when we (unfortunately) needed them the most. Thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts.
My mother passed away on October 9th. My family chose Millspaugh to handle her funeral services. We were all very impressed by the compassion and efficiency of the entire staff. They accommodated us and addressed every aspect in a caring and highly professional manner.
This is the absolute best funeral home to come for help when your family needs assistance, whether in a time of tragedy, for pre-planning, and everything in-between. Tom, Susan, and Laura treated us like loving family members, with much compassion and dignity. They made the paperwork and decision making easy and supportive. From my family's first-hand experience, Millspaugh made the lost of our loved one much easier. You will be in good, kind hands, if you choose this funeral home. And 150+ years in the business shows that generations of Millspaughs have been there for their neighbors, in time of need.
Tom, Laura, Mary, and everyone else who works here are the absolute best. They all went out of their way to ensure that all of our funeral needs were met. True professionals with great hearts.
