Easy, easy walking paths through first and pine grove. Some of the trail is on an abandoned railway.

Just love unpaved trails and this is no exception!
    Bring your booths hey.
Neat path on the fields, magic vibes in autumn (watch out for the leaves on the ground)

There’s a quaint bridge near the river and a convenient bench that overlooks the river itself.

Would like to know the function of that wall structure that stands there…

    We’ll be back!

Fou d this preserve when we moved to New York. With all the grind that happens in the city, this is sort of our spiritual space, a way to connect to nature. Whether it is winter time or spring or summer, you will enjoy being in this space. There are several trails that you can go on and you will not be disappointed where each one leads to. We have experienced wildlife that are there and have been calmed by the streams flowing. If you are looking to relax, to hike, or to build your skills this is a wonderful place to be.

This is a great little walk that takes you from an open field to the forest. In the middle of the forest is the hidden and lost rail trail path. You have to climb a little to find it but it’s amazing to know that the train went through there. Wish it was never cut out but nothing we can do now but enjoy the trails it left behind.
We went here a few times and took our family and friends. They can say they “went hiking” when it’s really just a short walk into the woods to enjoy the birds, a little history and the river.
