    A lovely estate, filled with exotic trees if you know where to look. The mansion house was originally built by James Hamilton (son of Alexander Hamilton) in 1835. It's now a physics lab operated by Columbia University. Their Science-on-Hudson talks are fun and informative.

    A place of great importance to the physics community, Nevis labs is still a bit to isolated and stark for comfortable usage
