Great for a peaceful walk in nature with great views. Friendly deer too.
Just reopened in August 2024 after a renovation. Great small informative space. Friendly park rangers.
Everyone has different opinions about life itself, go for yourself and experience it.The orchard beach trails are amazing and well kept, excellent path no difficulty and the water along make it spectacular view while you walk if course don’t go alone , go with others because just to vigilant and careful don’t know who to trust. There is park rangers but don’t count on it, just be your self . I personally enjoy the walk along the water .
Nice to explore but go together with others...lots of sketchy characters walking about by themselves. The area has trails that are not well maintained & kept more on the wild side. We saw about 5 whitetail deer & a few egrets. The salt marsh is also cool.
Excellent place! For me this should be consider a historic place from the bronx. Beautiful and amazing is how described it Come and explore the beautiful things that are hidden all over the beach. Me, personally didn't want to leave when I saw all precious rocks of sizes and kind. Visit and experience yourself. Nature is a creation of God!
