Poor George

This is such a gem of a shop! From amazing wardrobe staples to gifts for everyone, this place has it all. It’s definitely my go to in Cold Spring. Cadah, the owner, is super talented and always has pieces that are on trend but also timeless. She curates such a wonderful collection, you’re always able to find something. I never walk out empty handed and the staff is always extremely helpful. I adore this store and the staff! It’s a MUST visit when in the village of Cold Spring.

Great store on the Main Street with a lot of small things to buy and to look at.

If you forget to buy a hat and you’re about to tackle one of the hikes around Cold Spring, they sell some with Cold Spring written on them which is a good souvenir.

We had a wonderful experience here, we had such a great conversation with the owner, who was absolutely delightful, and we love the stuff in her store, we are already cannot wait to come back! 10/10 experience!!we love the stuff we got and she made sure we had a great experience!!

This store was SO cute! It had the nicest assortment of clothes, accessories, and home goods, and I wish I had more time to browse! It's the perfect place to find unique gifts for all kinds of people. Just note, they have a $10 card minimum - there is so much variety that it's not hard to meet this minimum, but I was in a hurry to catch the train and unfortunately didn't have time to find more to buy when they told me about the minimum at the register. Luckily, they also have an amazing online store, so I'm sure I'll make a purchase there!

Stopped in Poor George for the first time today while exploring Cold Spring with my mom. The owner was most welcoming and helpful. It is clear she takes pride in her shop, which she most definitely should! It's a bright and cheery store with awesome finds. I got a jumpsuit and a dress that I absolutely love. I plan to visit her website and order more in the future. I highly recommend stopping by Poor George when in the Cold Spring area.
