Could not be happier with my experience with Mike and John from Quality Furniture & Mattress. Very happy I walked into their store. Great customer experience and pricing. A large selection and no BS upsells or fees. No need to go to any of the big box stores when they can get you the same exact furniture for a fraction of the cost. Highly Recommend!!
I had an amazing experience today at Quality Furniture in the Poughkeepsie mall, and I absolutely need to give this place a full 5-star review. From the moment I walked up, the owner greeted me with genuine kindness and made me feel welcome right away. Not many places do that anymore. He didn’t rush me, didn’t push anything on me, and even allowed me to walk around, look at everything, and take photos so I could leave a detailed review. That’s how confident he is in his store — and honestly, he deserves that confidence.
The first thing you notice inside is how clean, organized, and well-stocked the showroom is. Everything looks brand new, beautifully displayed, and priced way better than most other furniture stores. Whether it’s the reclining leather sets, the oversized lounge chairs, the bedroom pieces, or the modern accent furniture, everything looks like high-end quality without the high-end price tag.
But what stood out the most was the owner himself. He is one of the friendliest and most trustworthy business owners I’ve met. You can tell right away he’s an honest guy who cares about his customers and his reputation. He answered every question I had, gave me time to check out multiple pieces, and never once tried to push me into something I didn’t want. That meant a lot. In today’s world where so many stores feel rushed and impersonal, this place feels different — more old-school, more personal, and more caring.
If you want a great deal, great furniture, and someone who treats you with respect from the moment you walk in, I highly recommend Quality Furniture. You’ll feel comfortable, you’ll get a great price, and you’ll be treated right.
I ordered a mattress on November 19th, I got the run around after Dec 1, no call ever from them, I had to call store several times and never got a straight answer as to the delivery which took 25 days. Be careful when purchasing from them.. My invoice said free removal of old mattress, was told no by delivery person and again had to call the store.
Excellent customer service. I needed a box spring and intended to pick it up at the store, but was offered same day delivery for $20. Also, the cost of this good quality product was half of what Mattress Firm wanted.
Very pleased with the purchase of our mattress and kitchen table.We went into the store to look at mattresses.There was no pressure to buy.While there we saw a floor model kitchen set that caught our eye.We noticed a small tear in a seat and the owner/manager(sorry,didn’t get his name)reduced the price.We were pleasantly surprised when 2 brand new chairs were delivered! An all around great experience with this company!
