Excellent atmosphere for early childhood start-ups!
We did not ultimately get to have our son attend Gan Shalom summer camp because we are moving, but I stopped by for an after hours tour (covid protocol) and brief chat with the director and one of the 2s teachers. I was very impressed with the covid safety procedures, as well as the interview. The teachers really seem to care about the kids and everyone had great answers for how they work with/help children with speech delays. I felt 100% comfortable sending my son here for his first school-type experience. They also graciously gave us our deposit for camp back when it turned out we were moving and unable to attend. Very sad to miss out on the opportunity to send my son there but hopeful that my spot opens up for someone else to benefit from this great program!

RSNS is a warm, welcoming synagogue with an amazing nursery school. One of the many reasons we moved to Port Washington from NYC. Diverse community of people, many dedicated to social action.
