My mother was a resident on the 2nd floor for the past two years. She passed away on November 22, 2025. We would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to nursing supervisor, Dana, the entire nursing staff, my mother's aides, activities staff, music therapy staff, pt and ot staff and the onsite administrator for the care you provided.
My mother's physical and emotional needs were met by this staff committed to the delivery of high quality, competent and compassionate care. We thank you too for the sense of community you provide to the residents on the 2nd floor.
It was a comfort to us and to my mother having had her in your care.

Making the extremely difficult decision to transition my dearest mom from caring for her at home to moving her to a facility for Respite Care was not at all an easy one. My family and I together, explored so many options, visited many and did all the due diligence. Not convinced by any, we finally visited Carnegie Post Acute Care, which came highly recommended by one of my husband's clients. After being by her side and taking care of her my expectations for her respite care were extremely high. After she had been there for 4 1/2 months, I can confidently say that we made the best choice by choosing Carnegie Post Acute Care in Princeton.

From taking us on a tour of the facility to coming home to meet my mom in-person, Michael Taylor, External Liaison Officer was so helpful and kind and gave us all the information needed to navigate through the preliminary steps in the decision making process.

Next it was Ellen Schaefer, Director of Admission & Marketing, who took care of all the patient onboarding proceedings efficiently and was so kind in accommodating all our requests until the end to ensure my mom was comfortable in her new place. Ellen has gone above and beyond in making sure all our expectations were met and for that, we're so grateful.

Now coming to my mom's care team, Mr. Abdul Samura and Mrs. Nazia Sultana have lead their team of nurses and aides so efficiently until her last day on earth. My mom was so lovingly cared for by a wonderful TEAM, who were like angels on earth till her last breath.

Our experience at Carnegie Acute Care at Princeton has been very positive since my mother was transferred from Penn Medicine with a fractured pelvis. The nursing staff and therapy staff was kind and professional. They answered any questions we had and provided the care my mother needed to get back on her feet. Thanks to everyone at Carnegie for a positive experience during my mothers recovery.

I’ve had the best healing experience here at Carnegie, and my family and I will be grateful always. The staff has been outstanding in every way. They’ve been kind, caring and so competent. For quite a while, I’ve not been eating well, but here I’ve been cleaning my plate almost at every meal. The kitchen staff makes the best chicken and coconut custard pie ever. Proteins are plentiful as are vegetables and fruits. I’m been very pleasantly surprised 😃. The rehab department runs like a well-oiled machine, and I’ve learned a lot and improved. The facility has lovely landscaping and quietly pleasant gardens to enjoy. Finally, I want to especially thank my CNAs who have taken such great care of me and the nurses who have handed out my medicines and answered my many questions. I could not have come to a better place with better people to care for me. I thank them all from the bottom of my heartā£ļø
