One of the best hiking routes if you are looking for a 1 hour walk around the lake. No pets allowed. Clean. Toilets.

Great location for bike riding, running or just relaxing. Nice picnic areas and playgrounds.
Nice place to spend a day with family. The pool is clean and has a kids water play area. Perfect BBQ spot.
A beautiful park particularly in autumn season. There is a relaxing atmosphere thanks to the many trees, the lake and the surrounding quiet.
On weekends there are more people in the park.
Beautiful weather and very nice view, great place for barbecues. Clean grounds. Manicured grass. Tons of picnic tables with barbecue grill. Beautiful lake. There's public swimming pool available. Fishing at the lake. Hiking trails with trail. There is not much more to ask. Plus, NO ADMISSION FEE, except $8 daily parking fee. 30 miles from NYC. Close to shopping centers or outlets. Not much more you can ask from state park. A must do if you live in NYC.
