I attended a funeral, it was someone I grew up with who passed away.☹️
I went to the Brotherhood breakfast on March 25th, 2023. It was an amazing event with a large turnout. It was truly a pleasure meeting everyone there. I'm already looking forward to the next one.
I visited 3 years ago while in town from Chicago as it is in walking distance from my family's house. Even though I am white, the people were very friendly, the people take their faith seriously, and the enthusiasm was contagious. It was a true spiritual blessing to join them in worship.
They have a lunch soup kitchen. They lend their large parking lot to the Food Bank of Westchester who distribute food to the underserved.
