Sunrise Laundromat

This is my favorite laundromat so far. It smells clean, you can tell they regularly clean the machines. It has good air flow which is crucial in the summer. There is a change machine in the back left corner (love that!) and a clear counter with a good selection of detergent and dryer sheets. They also have drinks for sale which is so nice while you're waiting!

There is a total of 20 washers and 20 dryers-- a great number so that even if it gets a bit crowded you should be able to find an available machine.

They have 10 small washers, 8 medium and 2 large. They are all commercial machines though, so the small ones hold about as much as a regular at home HE washer, the medium holds a large load and the large ones are big enough that I dont have enough dirty clothes to ever need them. In between the washers and dryers there are tables for folding, which is so nice because I hate having to shove clothes immediately into my bag and making them all wrinkled.

I used the small washer for 2.00 and a medium washer for 3.50, which is $.50 cheaper than other places nearby! The dryers cost $.25 for 7 minutes, so $1.75-2.00 for a standard dry cycle.

I went in the morning on a weekday and it was not crowded. I think many people probably use their affordable drop-off/pick up laundry service because there were many tidy bags of clean clothes lined up and ready for pick up. They offer dry cleaning as well and will take large items like pillows/sneakers/comforters with their drop off service for reasonable prices.
