My partner and I stayed two nights in the Blue Sky room after new years and it was lovely. The room was big and exactly as pictured, with a comfy bed. The claw foot soaker tub and provided bubble baths/salts were an absolute dream. Breakfast (fruit, with special other add ons like homemade sorbet, and pankackes/waffles) was delicious! Neil and Darleen were friendly, gracious hosts and were extremely responsive when we had a small issue.
It's a perfect spot if you want to hike, just a 4 minute walk to the Mt. Beacon trailhead. A longer (about 20) minute walk to town, but on cute residential roads. There's also a free bus through town and to the train station/Dia Beacon, and an uber to mainstreet was only about $8.
Will definitely be back and would also highly recommend. Queer friendly!
My mom and I took a trip to Beacon and we couldn’t have stayed at a better place. Neil and Darlene made our time at Swann Inn comfortable and memorable. Darlene cooks a fabulous breakfast- the banana pancakes were my favorite- and Neil was so kind to pick us up and drop us off at the train station. I highly recommend you book at least A few nights at the inn and indulge yourself in the world that Neil and Darlene have created. I will definitely be back.
Highly recommend. Neil and Darleen are wonderful hosts. The inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays, the rooms were exactly as pictured, and breakfast each morning was great. I would definitely stay again
My husband and I stayed over the weekend and loved it! The room was clean, cozy and decorated very nicely. They offer breakfast in the morning and are very accommodating for food allergies (fresh made gluten free Belgian waffles and probably the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten!) and coffee and snacks available in the front hall to grab at any time. Neil and Darlene are so lovely and kind! If you’re in the area and need a place to stay go here! I can’t wait to come back.
Excellent choice for a Beacon stay! Their hospitality is warm and genuine, breakfast is delicious and thoughtful, and there are also some breakfast snacks available near coffee/tea table.
I spent my weekend walking into town and back—there is also a free loop bus that was nice to take when I happened to have the right timing—I enjoyed the walks but there are numerous hills involved. It took about 20-30 mins to walk into town. I will definitely stay here again!
