Our stay was absolutely lovely. Jim and Joe made our last minute trip very easy. They are very accommodating and kind. They made us breakfast in the morning and offered to drive us into town. The place is gorgeous, clean, and unique. The bed was quite comfortable and it was nice to enjoy the tv in bed. I recommend walking through their garden, especially during the fall- the views are great! Overall a wonderful experience’
Joe and Jim were impeccable hosts during our stay at Beacon Hermitage! Our room was very well-appointed, and we had a very comfortable stay there for two nights while we explored the picturesque town of Beacon, the jaw-dropping DIA museum nearby, and dined out at exquisite establishments. Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by the government shutdown, so we had to drive out of town instead of flying as originally planned back to Texas. Jim kindly checked on us during our travel to make sure we made it back safely -- and that speaks to the kind of person Jim is. My spouse and I plan on coming back to New York, and to choosing Beacon Hermitage again as a place to stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Beacon Hermitage. It has the perfect homey B&B feel, cozy and instantly relaxing, which is so hard to find these days. The interior is warm and inviting, and the homemade breakfast and coffee was delicious and such a treat. The location is ideal, close to downtown Beacon and minutes from great hiking trails, and getting Ubers was super easy the whole weekend. The room was clean, the other guests were all respectful, the shared spaces were cozy and clean, and it all made for a really lovely fall getaway. Also, the value for the price is unbeatable. Jim and Joe gave us a great insider recommendation to take a stroll to the reservoir that we loved. We can’t wait to come back in the spring, and would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Thank you!!!
My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of spending a night here. We were welcomed by Jim who was a most gracious and affable host. The interior design and decor lended to a cozy, one of a kind atmosphere with loads of charm and character. We both had a great time and would highly recommend. The breakfast (cooked by host) was also of considerable note! I enjoyed the frittata especially! Thanks for the care and attention to detail.
Jim and Joe are very welcoming hosts . They contact you by text the day before to provide the logistics and key security cards for the B&B and the security code for your room . The location of the Beacon Hermitage is nestled equally between Cold Spring and Beacon. We stayed in the Blue room which was clean , quaint and they provide a keurig coffee machine and robes for the room . The art work throughout the house and the gardens are spectacular. If you plan on staying in the Hudson Valley area the Beacon Hermitage is a romantic experience and the breakfast is amazing . Try the pastries 🥮 they are amazing
