We were disappointed with the coffee at this café. We ordered three different drinks: a latte, a regular coffee, and a seasonal pumpkin latte. The coffee itself had almost no flavor. My seasonal drink was enjoyable only because of the added spices, but the coffee itself was quite unpleasant.
lovely place but the barista doesn’t know how to make mocha, I didn’t see any chocolate inside and I went back, then I was told the chocolate was around…. Excuse me? I don’t see it and I don’t taste it
I seriously don’t see how it differentiates from cappuccino
The Café at Wave Hill truly exceeded all my expectations! The portions are fair, tasty, fresh and generally well blanched. The fact that they use locally sourced ingredients is also a wonderful bonus. We had Cobb salad, chicken caesar wrap, and a breaded chicken sandwich. The indoor dining area is in a beautifully historic building and many of the meals offered are made by kitchen staff to order. It was clean and the workers were wonderful, even at peak hours, but the outside dinning section stole the show for us. Having a quick bite surrounded by nature enhances the whole experience.
What a lovely place to be. The cafe is a bit overpriced for small portions but the food is great, fresh and healthy. We had salads and lemonade but the best park of this is garden itself with mini hiking and lots of plants- the river view and the numerous benches and chairs
Great cafe with with outdoor seating vibrant space. Good vegetarian options and lemonades are delicious. This is part of the Wave Hill Park. The structure in which it is located is historic. Good break from walking around this beautiful park. A gem in Riverdale Section of Bronx. Only negative is one cannot go to just eat there without paying the fees for the park entrance.
