We have been coming here for a while now. This church is unlike the others we have attended before. The sense of community is very strong and the pastor is great (services are bilingual: English and Chinese)! After each service, we also have a community, potluck lunch. Highly recommend.
Very humble believers who worship the Lord Jesus.
Great place to have Sunday service at 10am and Sunday school at 11:30am, with biblical theology. Very hospitable group of people that will make you feel like you’re part of the church even if it’s the first time visiting. On Friday nights there’s AWANA (children’s program), youth group as well as adult fellowship for different age group of family occurring simultaneously. Throughout the year there are special events/gatherings to allow everyone a chance to participate and engaging the community.
All events are interactive for all, though separation into groups per language-speaking and/or age is necessary.
Such groups include: Children's Choir; a Youth Group for students in high school and up; and adult discussions of personal life tips and Biblical theologies.
The Youth Group formed association with AWANA, their mission being to teach God's word in an entertaining and educational manner to any willing children in the community.
Printed banners and hand-outs for announcements and sermons. The church posts photos of any church or community events, but does consider first the consent and desires of any and all participants with care and respect.
My parents attended this church for many years and I have visited on occasion. The people are very friendly and welcoming. The theology and teaching is sound and biblically-based. A wonderful community of believers. They meet on Sunday mornings at 10AM at the Fishkill Church of the Nazarene church facility.
