The best experience I've ever had when purchasing a violin. Jim listened to what I said I wanted. There was never a hard sell and I wasn't told what I really wanted. No time pressure on coming to a decision. I played for as long as I needed and which ever violin I chose. I walked out with the best violin and bow for me. I love what I bought (a Kono) and can't stop playing it. Great after sales care too. Don't hesitate to go there.

My 7 year old granddaughter is taking violin lessons at the Smithtown location. Marissa Faltings is her instructor. Marissa is an excellent violinist and instructor. It is evident that she loves what she does and she truly has the patience of Job. My granddaughter is thriving under Marissa’s tutelage. I highly recommend her as an instructor and just a wonderful person.

I am ALWAYS grateful for Mr. Rufino and his amazing staff! Not only has he helped make sure my viola is well maintained through the years, he's helped me get my first Wood Viper 5-String electric violin and most recently his amazing staff member, Marissa presented an AMAZING workshop to my 4-6th grade students on what it is like to be a Luthier! Marissa was kind, thoughtful and ready to answer our 115 excited musicians worth of questions. The pandemic has presented music teachers with quite a challenge but also an opportunity to help our students explore the many avenues music can take you in creative ways. I am unbelievably grateful that Marissa and Mr. Rufino took the time to help my students learn and most importantly keep being excited about their music.
