Washing Well Laundromat Of Walden

$11 for a big washer yet the soap I put in the washer didn’t even go through the machine. My clothes came out smelling weird. I had to rewash them in a different washer. That only added 1 hr onto my trip. I always go to a different laundromat but this one was convenient for me tonight. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I picked up the trash that was on the floor and put the carts back so it didn’t look a mess & unorganized because I have no problem helping the community I live in but I don’t get paid to clean up after others… ADULTS. There’s never an employee or manager on the premises. 🫤

This place is "okay." It gets the job done, but that's it. I've never seen an employee or attendant on sight. It's never disgusting, but it's also never clean. It's designed as a self-serve environment, but apparently there's a decent customer base that doesn't clean up after themselves. I'm constantly picking garbage off the floor, just to try to help out while I'm there. I've had 2 or 3 occasions where a machine took my money and didn't work, which is super frustrating because there's no one there to help you when that happens. You have to just spend more money if you want your laundry done, and HOPE you'll get reimbursed later. I've never been reimbursed, but we only tried once. After that, I kinda just chalk it up to, "well, I took the risk by coming here. Now I'll have to just use another machine and pay again." 🤦🏽‍♀️ This place just happens to be the most convenient location for me. Aside from that, they do have free wifi, which I'm sure customers appreciate. There's a couple vending machines although one is broken. A good variety of machine sizes and plenty of dryers. And it's located in a strip mall that's in a nice, safe area. I never feel worried about leaving my clothes unattended while I run to a neighboring store. Like I said, it gets the job done. It's a laundromat and it serves its purpose. Not great, not terrible.

This place is 24 hours. It is kept very clean. The price is very affordable. There are many different sized machines, including a huge one for comforters. This laundromat also takes credit card payments which eliminates the use of change, although it does still offer quarter usage. I really like this laundromat.
