An authentic old-school Moroccan minyan, home to a friendly, young and active congregation. A genuinely welcoming place, with a talented young rabbi, and an efficient president-for-life. It is a pleasure to join the minyan, where as in the traditional Moroccan custom, all congregants participate in the prayers.
Of note is the nearly weekly kiddush with home-style dishes, the very lively class prior to Shabbat Minha and the well-attended Seudah Shelishit. A remnant of the Sephardic synagogues of the distant past, where learned rabbis and unobservant Jews sit side by side in peace and mutual respect.
If you are looking for a Morrocan synagogue, this is the place to go on shabbat. The Hazanims are great with all the morrocan customs. AUTHENTIC MORROCAN SYNAGOGUE 🕍
