Step back in time at this motel! This great little motel looks just like what we would have stopped at in the sixties!
We stopped here twice this year. They are very nice. They remembered us the second time and asked if we wanted the same room. We wanted it, and they assigned it to us.

Very pleasant stay. Big (clean) room, two big beds, TV, half-size fridge, microwave. Everything you need in a motel for a comfortable, quiet overnight stay. Close to Key Food supermarket or Walmart, too.

Very comfortable and cozy. Great place to stay for a quick trip in town. Peter was phenomenal!

Pictures online made the place look nicer than it is. There are so many little things that could really improve this place and make it acceptable, but it feels as if they just don't care to try.

Our multi day stay was not a great experience. I'll try to keep it short and quick.

Booked a no-smoking room that smelled like a smokers room. The blanket even had burn spots.

Airconditioner, when turned on, smelled like mangy wet dead animals.

A simple paint job is badly needed and some basic repairs. Our shower had the faucet and shower head not attached to the wall. All the electrical outlets were stained yellow and looked ancient.

Many of the bath towels had stains.

Screen door doesn't close and slams around in the lightest wind which woke us many times throughout the nights.

Water was shut off for a while with no notice one morning. Another night power went out for a while.

Bug exterminator insisted on spraying our room one late morning.

The town is really cool and historical. If this hotel would straighten up it would be a great place to visit. But I would not recommend this place to anyone right now.
This is just my experience and honestly I've stayed in worse places. I just want to share so others will know what to expect.
