I was sorry to see some folks had issues, but I was very happy when I recently went in about 8:30 pm and they had a wonderful variety of delicious looking slices. Service was excellent. Great slice, served with a smile so thank you. I’ll be back again.
I came to Peppi's last night with my husband. We debated on going to brother's pizza or Peppi's and we chose Peppi's. My stepdad always took me to Peppi's as a kid, it was always great food and great service. Last night was terrible, and busy isn't an excuse.
It was us and another couple in the restaurant sitting down. The waitress comes over to ask us what we want to drink, we both said water. The waitress never brought us out water the entire duration of us eating dinner. Then, I asked the waitress when is a good time to place a large pizza to go, and then I just said I'll just put the order in when our meals come out. My husbands personal pizza never came out, I guess she misunderstood and thought we wanted that to go. There was only us and another couple. The waitress was simply playing on her phone instead of paying attention that we never had water. We ate dinner without any drinks. The dining area also smelled like dirty wet cleaning rags. I won't be coming back.
Went here and got a cheese pizza to assess their basic pizza quality compared to other local pizzerias. Of all the 27 pizzerias we went to, Peppi’s scored the highest. Their cheese pizza boasts slightly caramelized, chewy cheese that’s balanced by an appropriately acidic sauce. Only critique was that the crust was a little hard, but it still had nice flavor. Would highly recommend.
Another pizza Friday in the books. Checked out Peppi's Pizza in Langhorne. As usual got a large chicken Parm pizza. This was a great thin pie. Sauce and cheese were great. Cheese had a lot of flavor and the Parm comes through here. Sauce was sweet. Dough also had good flavor. Even the crust was good. Like taking a bite out of a fresh baked loaf of bread. Bottom was lightly toasted. The small chicken chunks were well seasoned and modestly spread onto the pie. Felt like there could've been more but it was quality. Overall I'd give this pie and 8.3. Good spot.
