Food and service are great, but management won't let you take wings to go no matter how long you've stayed or how many drinks you've had. I hate food waste, and this rule is greatly frustrating because I can't imagine how many wings must be thrown away because of it. Do better.
The fries were good, but too few. The chicken was unfortunately dry. The bartender did go in the back for me to get the beer I wanted so that was cool. The other patrons were chill and friendly.
Update: love the Friday night bartender at Big Jim's.
Great local spot. Varying degrees of quality of the food, customers, and ambiance. Always the highest quality booze, beer, prices, and service.
I'm on a 9 ball pool league and, as a former smoker (quit 32 years ago), I really appreciated it was no longer a problem.
Not the biker bar it was years ago when I last rode in on my '61 pan but neither am I of that former ilke.
It's a good, "neighborhood" kind of place. The pool tables are well maintained, and the craft beers on tap have a great variety.
The menu goes beyond what is normally considered "bar food," and the bartenders are all excellent.
The TVs are always tuned to local and national sports, and the patrons are friendly.
