Great atmosphere. Great service. Drinks are amazing. Would definitely recommend a stop in just for the vibe. Yeshuva was amazing and helped us with whatever we needed. We will definitely be going back!!!!

Last evening we celebrated my sister’s birthday in the tavern. The food was delicious (really lovely chicken sandwich with pesto and roasted red pepper & everything fries) and the drinks were refreshing. And most special of all was the service and atmosphere proved by the staff. The fireplace was kept roaring and warm and we had great conversation with the engaging man who kept the wood on. I was so impressed by the way the staff worked together. There was complete and continuous attention to our party and kindness and patience. I have never seen such cooperation in a staff. It seemed like they really wanted to help one another to do a good job and they enjoyed their work. They kept fresh water with oranges on the counter for us, smiled and said nice things. I can say without a doubt that we will return for more parties in the future. I highly recommend the tavern for any special celebration or just head over to watch a game and have a burger. Thank you so much to the staff of Heritage.

What a terrific establishment! We've been dining here since Shadrachs was at this location. My gal pals and I love to eat and play trivia or hear the live entertainment from local musicians. It is very impressive that during the big events that the food and beverage and hospitality staff are always willing to go above and beyond. When we patrons are at the Heritage and enjoying the Tavern, we feel welcome. I would recommend this business. If you're ever in the Southbury area of Connecticut and are looking to stay and dine and enjoy all that New England has to offer, then you've come to the right place.

Food was very good and fresh, there’s a pool table and table games we had a great time. The service is fast and staff very nice.

Cody was the bartender. He made a non alcoholic drink concoction that was amazing!
I ordered the volcano tuna to try for the first time. It had a bite to it, but the cold noodles offset it with a light teriyaki sauce.
Also tried the grilled cheese. I had to! It was there! This is awesome comfort food. Served with a tomato based sauce. It actually sweetened the flavor and have it a whole new profile. You HAVE to try this!
The steak was great! Had a lot of flavor. There is something for everyone on the menu at The Tavern. The chef did an amazing job. We will be back again!

UPDATE: THEY CHANGED CHEFS AND ONLY SERVE BAR FOOD. TOO GREASY. NOT GOOD AT ALL. ORDERED THE FISH AND CHIPS. NOT WORTH THE HEARTBURN IT CAUSED!
