I’ve been dealing with chronic plantar fasciitis for over two years, and Stratford Acupuncture & Nutritional Wellness Center is the first place where I experienced real, lasting relief.

Before coming here, I had tried everything. I was in a walking boot for nearly a year, had cortisone injections, shockwave and stem wave treatments, physical therapy, and even trigger point dry needling with a PT. I also saw multiple MDs and chiropractors. Nothing worked, and the pain was completely controlling my day-to-day life.

When I saw Dr. Joe, he immediately explained that my foot pain was likely being driven by dysfunction higher up — especially in my calf muscles — rather than just treating the foot itself. He treated specific motor points in my calf, and when I got off the table, I honestly couldn’t believe it — about 90% of my pain was gone immediately.

By the third treatment, the pain I had been dealing with for years — and that MDs, PTs, and DCs couldn’t manage — was completely gone.

This clinic is clearly run as a medical acupuncture practice, not a spa, and I appreciate that. The care is focused, professional, and results-driven. The office is clean, organized, and efficient, and Dr. Joe takes the time to assess what’s actually causing the problem instead of just treating symptoms.

The PMF table is particularly amazing and so good for aches and pains. I'm amazed every time I use it how great my body, particularly parts that hurt going in, feels after.
