Allen D. Rosen, M.D. - The Plastic Surgery Group

I went for a consultation for a breast reduction for medical reasons. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Rosen from the moment he walked through the door. He explained everything in detail, showed me 3D photos of what I would look like after the procedure and felt that I met criteria to have it approved through insurance based on my symptoms and the size of my breasts. I then met with his financial coordinator Jansy and she provided all the pre-op instructions. His office initiated an authorization, after 1 week I took it upon myself to check the status on my insurance website, it said it was pending so I notified Jansy of this and she said when she checked it said it was in process.I waited a few days and checked again and it still said it was paused and pending so I called my insurance company and was told additional information was needed from provider and that they sent out a letter. I received the letter in the mail and faxed it to the office as they claim they never received it. I was then told that they provided additional information at that point. I once again waited about a week and checked insurance website to learn the procedure was denied. I emailed Jansy to notify her and asked if doctor can appeal the decision, she did not respond all day so I called the office to speak with her but was told she was busy. She emailed me at the end of the business day basically saying there is nothing that can be done and that the doctor would not be appealing this. She is not qualified to decide whether or not an appeal should have been done, this should have been a decision between myself and Dr. Rosen, however she would not give me the opportunity to discuss this with him, she instead asked if I wanted to proceed with the surgery as cosmetic, self pay. Her disregard for my case was completely unprofessional. Truly a disservice to Dr. Rosen and his practice. A wonderful doctor and horrible staff!

It has been 6 months since my surgery, today I can say that I am very happy with the results, Dr.Rosen did an incredible job, he made my self-esteem go from 0 to 1000. Sometimes surgeries are not just about vanity, if not to feel safe, to feel feminine, to feel like a woman, and for a long time I didn't feel that way, I have regained all my confidence.
I love sharing with the people who read me, my beautiful experience and my excellent results.
Thanks to his entire work team who made me feel at home with their kindness and attention and thank you Dr. Rosen for having changed a woman not only on the outside, but also on the inside.

Dear Dr. Rosen, thank you for giving me the joy, and self-esteem I needed. You are so amazing, and the best Plastic surgeon ever! I am very happy to have been able to perform the abdominoplasty and breast implants that I had dreamed of so much. The results have been exactly what I expected! Dr. Rosen is an special Artist at what he does, and his peace, humility, and professionalism make him the big star that he is. The recovery process was much easier for me, because I have felt very supported, especially by Dayna, and Teresa, who have answered all my questions and doubts during the recovery process. Dr. Rosen performed an implant removal and a breast reconstruction/lift of the remaining natural breast tissue on me. The result was incredibly exactly as he told me it would be in the consultation session!
He is kind, considerate and listened to what I wanted and didn’t push anything extra on me unlike the other doctors I had consulted for the same procedure.

From the beginning and all through all of my follow-ups, I have had the most wonderful experience in plastic surgery. Dr. Rosen is the most wonderful soft spoken doctor I have ever met. The staff in his office along with the staff at the surgical center were outstanding. I would certainly recommend anyone to go to this surgical center. You will not find any better doctor, treatment or staff in this area for any of your plastic surgery needs. My procedure was so wonderful, I wish I could do it all over again. I highly recommend Dr. Rosen. After meeting him and his staff, you will see that there is no need for a second opinion. Everyone is extremely professional, polite and very friendly.
