Chris's Auto Repair

I had to pick up a part in Waterbury and did a search for mechanics nearby and found Chris. I called early morning for an appointment and Chris was really busy but he said if I didn’t mind waiting he would fit me in. Unfortunately when I got there he wasn’t able to install the part because it didn’t fit my car but I’m writing this review due to his customer service. even though I called last minute he was honest and accommodating. I also appreciated that he told me what he would be doing before he started the work, gave me a fair price and when he quoted the price he showed me his computer screen so I could see how the rate was calculated. As a female, I dislike dealing with most mechanics bc they can be shady and often assume women don’t know about cars. I didn’t get that impression with Chris, I wish I lived in the area, he would be my main mechanic

I would recommend this shop to anyone, and this is after going to one of those more well known chain shops. The work was done quickly, cleanly and the price was unbeatable. Call the shop and let Chris know what was wrong with the car, he told me the parts to purchase, went to him the early the next day and had my car back in a few hours. He even had some suggestions for me w.r.t. the engine and trust me, I will be going back to him to service my car from now on. Thanks.

Chris is a genuine businessman. A gentlemen, an honest man, and an experienced..spot on mechanic. He is the first man we go to for any automotive mechanical need. If it happens to be something he's aware of, but either out of his realm, or sometimes, he may be so busy, and we are in a hurry..he makes sure we get taken care of even if it's another shop. That's not a regular occurrence, but this man respects his customers, and that alone speaks volumes of his business. God bless our neighborhood mechanic, and friend from day 1. May he always be watched over. He's an extremely fair & honest businessman...not many people can say such a thing. He takes pride in his work, and is excellent at it.

This automotive repair shop is one of the best I've ever been to. Chris did an excellent job repairing my car. Without wasting my money by repairing needless things. Chris really put a lot of effort into properly diagnosing the problem. I really thought my car was headed for the junkyard. Chris not always saved my car but my sanity. Chris' prices are excellent. I truly thought the repair it was going to cost much more than it did. This is a shop you can really put your trust in. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who's looking for car repairs from someplace they can trust.
