At first this company was great to work with. They set me and my wife up with affordable and very comprehensive auto and renter’s policies, as well as work insurance as I am in construction. We had stayed with them for 2(ish) years before we decided to move south where they do not cover. On multiple occasions I had requested to cancel policies, starting with all the work insurance, which was successfully cancelled but continued to be withdrawn from my account. I had to request a refund and waited multiple weeks to get this mistake fixed. When I requested to cancel my auto and renters insurance they once again confirmed over the phone that it was cancelled. Two months go by as we’re moving and settling into our new place, setting up new insurances and so on, and I notice that they had never cancelled my account and had been charging me for about 10 weeks of coverage even though not only did I cancel, I signed up for new insurance coverages with a new company already. This issue came up over a month ago now and I have still not received any refund. In addition, the representatives have lost interest in helping me because I’m no longer a client, even though they continued to take my money. This amounted to almost $900 and multiple fees I have had to cover myself. As much as I “liked” the people I dealt with while I was a client, I’m not sure I’d suggest this company to anyone else after having to deal with the same issue multiple times.
