Wow Felica is amazing. I haven’t been to a salon in a long time — years ago I had a bad salon experience but seeing Felicia was so worth it she is very good at short styles!

I went to Felicia’s today to get my hair washed blow dried and pressed along with a good trim. Felicia was very accommodating as she took me as a last minute walk-in and I was grateful for her service.

    1. Everyone was very warm welcoming upon arrival, and my hair came out nice.

Here are some of my negatives:
Her sister washed my hair, which is common in salons for an assistant to help wash. My wash didn’t really get my hair as clean as I’m used to. My scalp rather, I’m flaking as we speak.

    2. Her sister made comments about my hair that made me uncomfortable, she went in to say how my hair was too thick and she was afraid to touch it. So I told her it’s no problem I can set angle if she wanted me too. She gave me a comb and I started to detangle.

Then she started to help and she said “oh your hair is not as “bad” as I thought it was. So I laughed it off in an uncomfortable way.

She started to blow dry my hair she said her detachment broke so she was going to use a brush, which was fine but the brush she was using had the little balls at the end and I could feel the hair ripping from my scalp. So I kindly asked her if I could wait for Felicia to just do it.
    She was fine with it.
I wanted to get a chance to let her know the health of my hair and what I was looking for.

Felicia was very patient with me and is a good listener, I just wish a little more product was used on my hair like a serum or heat protector and maybe a little sheen afterwards. My hair felt a little dry after leaving.
I came home and put more stuff in to help with that, but I shouldn’t have to do that after leaving a salon.

Overall my experience with Felicia was great, but next time I go I’d rather her wash and dry my hair because if I’d known my washing/ drying experience was going to be the way it was I would have washed and dried at home then gone to her for the cut and style.
