Such professionalism and understanding to people's situations and time constraints. My daughter didnt want locs anymore and spent all summer taking them out (164), Melinda was empathetic and very accommodating to us; we went so we could show her the task at hand and she squeezed us in the following day, coming in early to rescue my baby's crown. She washed, detangled, prayed a little Im sure, trimmed then silk pressed my daughters hair. It was at this time I almost cried because my baby girl with the locs was gone and now I have a tween who has a loose neck from flipping her hair so much. She is currently navigating hairstyles that fit her but we all know where she's going for silk presses and maintenance

I really love Melinda she is sweet, attentive and patience. She knows her stuff about hair mainly locs she is literally the only person I allow to touch my hair. Melinda started my locks, her work is great and every time I go there my hair just comes out healthy. She makes her own oils and I am not sure what is in it, but it really grows my hair. I definitely recommend her if you want your locks started.

I have been looking for a salon to do my dreads for a very long time. Then I found Melinda beauty bar and the experience was great. Melinda was professional and nice. She gave me tips on how to keep my hair healthy. She was quick and such a pleasant person to talk to. Before I left I scheduled my next appointment because I for sure will be going back.
