A very quiet and pleasant place. Perfect for a break from the city noise. Very clean, and the bathrooms are excellent. The saltwater pool is excellent. Perfect for a getaway with family or friends.

Run down campground that needs TLC and less political and religious signage. Cash or check only, odd this day and age (consider Venmo if you do not want credit cards). Went to plug in and my surge protector found low voltage. The owners did come fix it promptly. They do not always answer the phones, be patient. This campground has several permanent residents and there is a lot of broken down clutter at many sites. Most of picnic tables at the sites were cheap, plastic. They bought new wooden picnic tables and are in the process of staining them. Lots of the buildings need a paint job, pressure washing or just cleaned up. There's a great restaurant 7 minutes away, Hindsight BBQ that we strongly recommend. Sorry, we do not recommended future visits.

So fun and relaxing! We went for labor day weekend and it wasn't crowded. Very kid friendly. Out of nowhere the owner came by and let us know there was going to be free kid painting/tattoos for the kids and laser tag!!! I used to come as a kid (now I'm 30) and it looks the same except for cleaner bathrooms, new clean pool, and goats roaming near their home near us. My son is 9 and said we will be coming back! I can't wait to go back! The guy that was riding around continuously checking everything out was very nice and helpful. Good people working there.

Pros: Nice friendly and professional owners and staff. Nice RV park for smaller travel trailers, not large 44 ft Toy Haulers. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the campground. Great place to walk and relax. There is a clean pool, bathrooms and office. Great place for seasonal workers and overnight stays. Security gate for access to campground. Firepits. Ron was great for help.

Cons: 9% grade coming into the park. RV scrapped the asphalt see photos. Power lines are too low in site 107. The asphalt roads need serious repair.

We stayed here for almost two months. Ron is AMAZING! Our truck got some issues so we couldn't leave as we planned Ron was very kind to give us the flexibility to extend our stay as we needed. We will absolutely come back for an extended stay. They do only take cash so make sure to bring enough. 5 plus star!
