Golden Palace

I'm so sad about the condition of this place. It's been there for 40+ years.
There were no other customers there.
We stayed because we used to go there with our kids and decided to give it a shot.
A young boy was our waiter when he want playing a video game.
He brought flat ginger ale, then as a replacement, warm root beer.
The egg roll was good. The soup was hot but we've had better.
The entrees were mediocre.
I had "bird's nest " and the fried noodles had a rancid taste. Probably from using the oil a few too many times.
Sad to say after 40 years, tonight was our farewell.

Ordered take out for lunch, soup and dumplings are a solid 4.5. Nice light and yummy flavor. The general tso’s and rice was disappointing. It tasted like the rice and chicken were day old and very dry lacking flavor. The soup was a home run, hopefully just got it on a bad day.

Great fresh vegan Chinese food. I had the sesame plant based chicken with broccoli. Great chew, flavor, and nice and juicy. The broccoli was cooked just right as well, perfectly crunchy. Also had vegetable fried rice minus egg and the baby corn. They remembered the special requests and all food was hot and fresh. We’ll be back soon.

I would've given this restaurant 5 stars if it were all vegan. The vegan items we ordered were delicious!!!

I got the vegetarian beef and vegetables and added some brown rice to it. It was AMAZING! The vegetables were plentiful and had a nice assortment of carrots, mushrooms, baby corn, broccoli, zucchini, onion, water chestnuts, and string peas. My sister and her fiance got the vegetarian chicken lo mein and the vegetarian beef lo mein, and we shared the vegetarian BBQ spare ribs. The woman taking our order assured me that everything we ordered was actually vegan and not just vegetarian. We were all very happy with our meals and can't wait to go back!
