Cousins Maine Lobster Restaurant - Asbury Park

From Canada Toronto, huge foodie whose tried many lobster rolls from Prince Edward island. This Maine lobster roll and lobster tots was the BEST lobster I've ever had. Much more tenderer than pei lobster and the bread was very flavorful with butter. I'd come back here again! Highly recommend!

This is a very low service concept so the medium rating reflects it. You order inside and are given a number to display on your table and a server brings out your order. The food came out pretty quick.

I had the Maine clams. They are full belly and fried, served with fries. Plenty of tartar sauce and fresh lemon wedges. Delicious. Would have been better with a cold beer but they don't serve alcohol.

My wife had the lobster tacos. Great concept, but disappointing in that the other flavors of the corn tortillas, cilantro, etc over powered the lobster. I could see the lobster but couldn't taste it. 😞

The highlight is the setting. We sat outside on a perfect day.ots of great sun and people watching. Definitely a place I would return to.

If you want to feel good about yourself but also enjoy life get this. Absolutely delicious. I love a good lobster roll but wanted to start my morning by fueling my body with something more balanced. This was my first meal of the day and after tasting the quality, I’m sure the roll would not disappoint. I got the Maine Harvest salad, making sure to add chicken. Would love to come back.

Came here on an early Friday afternoon and had my first lobster roll! Ordered the Garlic Butter lobster roll and the New England clam chowder. It's definitely pricey for one person but I enjoyed my time there. The place was quiet and the service was great. Nice first experience during my day trip in Asbury.
