Johnathan Van Hetten was so professional, friendly, very helpful, patient, very polite and very very well manner. It was like a scene from the past, years and years and years ago when employees had true customer service skills and true work values and ethics. My mom, my sister and I visited the store Saturday, January 3rd and this young man caught our attention immediately with his work performance and the way he catered to his customers which was totally Amazing! He was so helpful with my mom and once again, he displayed nothing but respect, patient, and courtesy along with excellent, excellent customer service skills! He definitely has true work values and ethics. You guys got a winner!

Purchased a pair of hoka sneakers here. The sales people spent a good amount of time assessing my needs and my foot. How I run, high arch etc. Presented me a few options. Great customer service.

I brought my 90 year old father here to get shoes for his poor old feet. We had the most amazing experience I have ever had in a shoe store, or maybe any store, due to the incredible attention we received from the person who waited on us, Tongé. She was so experienced and knowledgeable and so kind and patient— above and beyond to say the least! We walked with a very good fit for my dad and smiles on our faces. I took my 91 year old mom to get some shoes at Harley Lane Shoes in Shelton, CT. The store has a great selection of high quality shoes. Even better was the staff! Donna Achille was fantastic! She was extremely patient and helped my mom get exactly what she wanted. Mom has some mobility issues and is recovering from a broken femur, so shoe shopping is a bit challenging for her. Donna listened to what my mom was looking for and took out several styles until she found exactly what mom was looking for with exactly the right fit! Donna was an angel! 🙂

I have been traveling from Fl and needed new tennis shoes. From the moment I walked in the door I met Donna. Donna was very personable and professional and took great care of me with suggestions along with her own experiences with brands that she’s worn herself! Donna is a true asset to the Hawley Shoe store. It was so nice to finally walk into a store that someone would assist you with the level of customer service that makes the difference!
