Nothing abnormal the food is good the people at the desks downstairs don’t do anything but gossip really loudly it’s sometimes distracting

I’m actually a Library and Information Studies MLS student at CUNY Queens College living in Stony Brook. Every so often, I’ll come into the library to write papers, and watch patrons get helped by librarians and library staff. Being in the library and seeing the smiles on patrons’ faces reminds me of why I went into this field of study, every single time I visit.

Absolutely brilliant library with loads of inspiration, great classes, unlimited resources and so much more! I went to a toddler group with my granddaughter and we had the best time. Library books rank supreme. Praying libraries never go out of fashion.

One of the better public libraries on Long Island with books, reference, magazines, children's section as well as audio and video collections. In addition to physical media, the library offers a host of services for patrons. This includes digital access to resources as well as events and tutoring.

Parking is adequate but can be a bit short if there is an event going on.

A gem of a Suffolk County library.

Quiet reading areas. Comfortable seating. Excellent selection of books, CDs, DVDs, and periodicals in stock.

Beautifully restored, large reading room at the front of the building from when the library was first built in the late 1800s.
