I've never been inside this library, but every summer, I enjoy their DYN-O-MITE outdoor used book sale! This year I picked up about 20 CDs and a book about UFOs, as I was abandoned on this planet about 55 years ago and I'm trying to find my way home.
Love this library and the sense of community it brings to the town. There are always interesting programs to attend. My kids always felt welcome here and found so many books they loved over the years. Many friendships have started here!
Wow what a great experience! My daughter and I enjoyed the toddler program today. The teacher Dorothy is a very nice person, very interactive, I also love that she is a homeschooling mom.
We recently pulled our daughter out of Millbrook library due to the “woke agendas” being pushed on children (graphic pride books in the children’s room), and we are happy to see that is no where in sight in this children’s area. It is worth driving the extra miles. Thank you Kent library!
A lot of kids program. Music & Rhyme is super fun and has lots of movement suitable for active kids. Chidren section has a lot of toys for a relativelt small library..almost 40% of the space is decicated for little ones.. :). A train table with tracks and lots of train is the winner! Walk downtown for coffee , icecream or meal after the session is a must !
Decent collection of books and recordings. Friendly librarian and updated catalogs. Usually not busy. Stone benches outside for reading al fresco. Memorable edifice in typical New England style.
