We had such a wonderful experience with this vet’s office today. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, welcoming and helpful.

We brought in a litter of nine puppies for exams. Dr. Trusock was absolutely amazing! She took the time to answer all of our questions, performed thorough exams and even gave each puppy a kiss at the end. Heather, the vet tech who took care of us, was equally as awesome and so helpful throughout the entire visit. She also snuggled the puppies. You could truly feel the love and care that they have for their patients.

We really appreciated the detailed paperwork we were sent home with for our puppy folders to give to their new families.

I truly wish I could give more than five stars. I highly recommend them!

Our dog started with vomiting and diarrhea Thursday night. She continued to be sick Friday. I was hopeful that she had eaten something and would expel it and be fine by Saturday. That was not the case. We live 30 miles away and regularly use a vet in our town.
Litchfield Veterinary Hospital was the closest service with Saturday services . They took us in, were exceptionally professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I am sorry I didn’t know about them earlier. I would have happily driven to them to care for our animals but as fate would have it, we are moving from the area in a month.

We moved to Litchfield Vet to be with Dr Jennifer Jones and the transfer of our Labradors' records was seamless. The front desk people and Vet Techs are all super friendly and professional. Very impressed with how they worked with our Labs for their vaccinations and checkup. Sign up with them, you will not regret it.

Dr. Jones was VERY patient with my pup today. Faith suffers from pretty bad anxiety when going to the vet, even when medicated, and Dr. Jones was amazing with her. And Mary-Ellen is ALWAYS so kind and gentle with my animals! Thank you to both of you for understanding my pups anxiety and being so patient with her!

We are privileged to have Litchfield Veterinary Hospital care for our beloved dogs. Dr. Ammirata has proven herself to be a phenomenal diagnostician on three separate occasions with 3 different dogs. She does this with expertise, kindness, compassion and detailed explanation.
My experience with the entire staff gets 5 stars from the welcoming front desk staff to the educated and kind technicians. My last couple of visits my technicians were Jackie and Heather- they were great!
